Privacy Policy
Songary is built to be useful without knowing who you are. Your song library stays on your device, and we do not run advertising or behavioral tracking.

This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Songary iPhone application, visit the Songary website, or contact us about the service. Songary is currently an independent product.
2. Information stored by the app
Your saved songs, edits, favorites, settings, source links, artwork, and reading history are stored locally on your device. We do not receive or maintain a copy of your song library.
You can remove individual songs inside the app. Removing the app through iOS also removes its locally stored data, subject to any device backups controlled through your Apple account.
3. Network requests you choose to make
Songary contains a browser so you can visit pages you choose. Those websites receive ordinary web requests and process information under their own privacy policies. Songary does not receive a copy of your browsing history.
To find optional cover artwork, the app may send a song title and artist name to Apple’s public music search service. Apple may receive technical request information under its own privacy policy. The selected artwork is then cached on your device.
4. Website information
The Songary marketing website does not currently use analytics, advertising pixels, contact forms, or non-essential cookies. We do not create visitor profiles or sell personal information.
The website is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel may process technical request information such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. You can read the Vercel Privacy Notice.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is transmitted only when needed for a feature you request, such as loading a website or finding cover artwork, or when disclosure is required by applicable law.
6. Children
Songary is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Future services
If Songary later introduces accounts, cloud sync, an API, analytics, or other features that change how data is handled, this policy and the relevant in-app disclosures will be updated before those features are introduced.
8. Your choices and rights
Because your library is stored on your device, you control it directly in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights concerning personal information processed by service providers. Contact us if you have a privacy question or request.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Songary changes. The current version and effective date will always appear on this page.
